Course Description:
This is a two-day entry-level course aimed at Kinesiologists and Physical Therapists who care for patients with dizziness, vertigo and balance problems.
The subject matter includes neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the normal vestibular system, the various pathologies that produce dizziness, vertigo and instability, the interpretation of complementary studies of the vestibular system, the mechanisms of vestibular compensation.
The kinesiological management with maneuvers and exercises of the most frequent vestibular dysfunctions.
The course includes evaluation and treatment workshops and demonstration of clinical cases on video.
At the end of the course the participant must have knowledge about the diagnosis and evaluation of the most frequent vestibular dysfunctions and know how to carry out carry out an individualized vestibular rehabilitation treatment based on scientific principles.

The course will be broadcast live via zoom. Participants will have the opportunity to participate and ask questions as if they were present. The schedules and values are the same as the in-person modality

Lic. Martín Bellver
Certified Vestibular Therapist Emory School of Medicine

Martín Bellver has a degree in Kinesiology and Physiatry graduated from the University of Buenos Aires.
In 2003 he obtained his Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University in the United States.
He has acted as a jury and speaker in more than 50 national and international courses and conferences.
He obtained the Cecilia Grinstein award for scientific research awarded by the College of Kinesiologists of the Province of Buenos Aires.
He is the author of the book: Dizziness Manual, Guide to Understanding Dizziness, Vertigo and How to Recover Balance.
He currently works as head of practical work. in the Chair of Physiatric Clinic of the Kinesiology school of the University of Buenos Aires.
He attends to private activity at the Neuro-otological Center the Dizziness Club and directs the Post-Graduate University level organized by Los Colegios de Kinesiologists from the cities of Córdoba and Mendoza.
